Nothing will bring the GOP on board. They have been dedicated to stopping anything not GOP-ish since Barack was elected. That's sad, but still no reason Joe shouldn't try. He was elected, in part, because he pledged to try to heal the divide. If he can't, it won't be because he lied to us all along.

And in case you haven't noticed yet, if he catered to the most liberal voices in the party, he would not have been elected and we would have Trump again.
