I do't associate usury as antisemitic, despite Shakespeare. I'm an English major, but the majority of Americans have no idea who Shylock was. Additionally English has 1 alphabet with 26 letters, not 26 alphabets.
What should be the definition of usury today is the interest rates charged on credit cards--in the US, commonly 24-28%. This is real usury, and it's clearly associated with corporate capitalism. Greed is good, and this usury is absurd and should be illegal.
