I don't think WWIII is required, but an FDR or Eisenhower would be a start. Yet, with the extreme right in control of more than half the TV and radio audience in the US, Trump's "alternate facts" dominate what Americans listen to and see in media. And with Musk in control of X, the social media world advances the BS of alternate facts, and, as an example, working Americans think Trump will be good for them. That's a terrible miscalculation. I grew up working class, and all that Trump has brought to the stage is a talent for convincing folks he's a genius and for the working man, while he's a grifter giving the shaft to the entire nation and working hard to deliver Europe to Putin as soon as he can. He's promised the world and stolen everything from ordinary Americans, and sadly the greatest of his thefts is the elimination of truth from public discourse.

I hold out some hope that he will lose the election and the GOP might finally consider how to return to decency and working on behalf of Americans, rather that the rich, big corporations, and Donald Trump. He has bankrupted American reality just as he bankrupted 6 casinos. Only a very evil man can bankrupt a casino, but 6 required extreme corruption.
